Features List

First Release: Beta 0.10 (will be tested only by beta-testers)

  1. General

    • [+/-]Changed Interface
    • [^^]Increased inventory, cube and stash

  2. Stats

    • [^^]Soul Icon - unique charm that you receive at the beginning; it allows potion use and grants bonus damage when you kill many enemies in a short amount of time, using two stats: Spirit Drain and Rage; it also bears the Regeneration aura that decreases these two stats over time.
    • [^^]Spirit Drain - stat that enables you to drink potions; after each potion drank, Spirit drain increases; when it reaches 50% potion effects drop gradually until, at Spirit Drain 100%, they have no effect whatsoever.
    • [^^]Rage - stat that increases as you kill enemies and gradually decreases over time; it provides bonus damage via the Soul Icon; maximum Rage increases with strength.
    • [^^]New item stats: strength%, elemental damage%, attacker wounded, thorns% etc.
  3. Skill System

    • [^^]Redesigned the entire system: each char has 4 sets of three skills (of which the first synergizes the other two) per tab (total 36 skills); max skill level is still 20 and you have to invest only 1 point in every skill in any circumstance; in late levels you get to choose in which direction you develop your uber skills, by choosing a "path" for each tab (1 out of 3, a total of 27 possible configurations); uber skills will be granted via "Path Icon" (an amulet); (NOTE: giving a path icon to a character that does not have the same path as you will cause immediate death!).

  4. Items

    • [+/-]Spell damage increases with Energy.
    • [+/-]Removed elite and exceptional items and varied items pending on the material they are built from (7 kinds of metallic items: steel, bronze, silver, gold, mythril, thorium and onyx; 7 kinds of leather: <undecided> 7 kinds of crystals: flame, frost, thunder, plague, might, life and death)
    • [+/-]Added automods to every item, pending on type and material.
    • [^^]Potions now heal instantly based on percentage.
    • [^^]Created crystals, socketable obtained from regular gems that give all the bonuses their gem counterparts do no matter the place you have put it (like a jewel with automods).
    • [^^]Improved stamina, antidote and thowing potions and added two new potions: "Inner Fire" and "Inner Spark"; potion duration is dynamically displayed in item description (duration may increase via "Potion Duration" stat).
    • [X]Completely rewrite affix pool.
    • [^^]Removed all unique and set items (they WILL be added later, so don't panic).
    • [+/-]Added new class-specific weapons and armor.
    • [X]Anything can be gambled.
  5. Runewords

    • [+/-]Completely rethink the runes system; basically every rune, alongside its normal modifiers (which have been all changed), will add or substract an enchantment on your item; enchantments are : Wrath, Balance, Body, Mind, Soul, and Void (the last one is granted only via runewords); runes are made only for runeword creation, they will have very little effect on their own; in order to get a valid runeword you must follow a simple set of 3 rules; after you have successfully done that, you will receive 95-92 additional enchantment points plus a few Void enchantment bonuses; these enchantment points can be used to cube powerful modifiers into your item, allowing you to actively customize it; (NOTE: total numer of runewords is 2750).

  • Professions: you will get to choose one profession that will allow access to unique items, cube recipies and skills.
  • Skill trees for all characters
  • Uniques and Sets.
  • Reconfigure difficulties (you will reach level 99 before hell, that is, if you can) ; Hell difficulty will be about surviving until the end and obtaining permanent boosts from uber quests.
  • In hell difficulty you will be able to collect enemy souls to use as reagents for certain skills and upgrades.
